Dr. Ananthen Killikulangara Sadanandan completed his M.B.B.S in 1998 from government Medical College, Thrissur, D.C.H in 2002, and M.D (Paediatrics) in 2003 from Government Medical College, Alappuzha. He completed Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi in 2004. He worked in the Department of Neonatology at MOSC Medical College, Kolenchery, Kerala from 2005-2007. He achieved Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Law & Ethics (PGDMLE) from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He underwent advanced training in Neonatology from Australia. He worked for 5 years in some of the best neonatal centres in Australia, including Monash Medical centre Melbourne, Royal Hospital for Women Sydney, and Liverpool Hospital Sydney. During his overseas work, he was exposed to the latest and advanced neonatal care, care of extremely premature babies’ resuscitation, stabilization, and ongoing care. He was also part of the famous Neonatal and Paediatric emergency transport team- NETS, Westmead, Sydney. He has performed almost a hundred retrievals of sick infants and children by Road, Rotor wing, and Fixed-wing transport. His other interests include teaching and research activities. He was a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. He has 3 publications in his name and has delivered many presentations in India and abroad. Presently he is working as Chief Consultant and Head of the Department of Paediatric and Neonatology at Kinder Women’s Hospital & Fertility Centre, Cherthala
