He graduated his MBBS from Tver State Medical Academy, Russia, MS in General Surgery from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, and Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from ILS, Coimbatore. He furthered his expertise by doing a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery, FMAS and Fellowship of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons, FIAGES. He Completed a wide array of trainings such as Upper GI Endoscopy Training at CEMAST, Mumbai, GEN 11 Training in Advanced Lap Gyn Procedures at Eva Hospital, Ahmedabad, Lap. Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery Training at CEMAST, Mumbai, and Lap. Bariatric training from EISE Chennai. He has certified with Fellowship Training in Lap Endo Gynaec Surgery, GEM Hospital Coimbatore and Fellowship Training in Bariatric Surgery from GEM Hospital Coimbatore. Dr John also Completed the Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) conducted by American Heart Association (AHA).
